PTH Antibody (5A7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects parathyroid hormone (PTH) in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PTH is a crucial 84 amino acid peptide that plays a vital role in regulating calcium metabolism by increasing blood calcium levels through various mechanisms, including stimulating bone formation, which enhances bone mass and strength in both rats and humans.
