SEE ALSO...

PSTK Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PSTK protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PSTK (B-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The phosphoseryl-tRNA kinase (PSTK) protein plays a crucial role in the synthesis of selenocysteine, which is essential for the function of several selenoproteins that are vital for antioxidant defense and redox regulation in cells. By catalyzing the conversion of seryl-tRNA(Sec) to O-phosphoseryl-tRNA(Sec), PSTK ensures the proper incorporation of selenocysteine into proteins, thereby influencing various biological processes, including cellular signaling and metabolism. This enzyme, consisting of 348 amino acids, is part of the L-seryl-tRNA(Sec) kinase family and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 10q26.13. PSTK exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms, highlighting its functional diversity and importance in cellular physiology.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with PSTK (B-5): sc-373991?

Asked by: cjMara
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
