Psf2 Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Psf2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Psf2 antibody (F-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Psf2, also known as GINS2 (GINS complex subunit 2), CGI-122, DC5, or HSPC037, consists of 185 amino acids and is primarily localized in the nucleus, where Psf2 plays a vital role in DNA replication. As a key component of the heterotrimeric GINS complex, Psf2 binds to single-stranded DNA, facilitating the initiation and progression of DNA replication forks, which is essential for accurate cell division and genomic stability. Psf2 undergoes DNA damage-dependent phosphorylation, likely mediated by ATM or ATR kinases, highlighting Psf2′s involvement in cellular response to DNA damage. The gene encoding Psf2 is located on human chromosome 16, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including giant axonal neuropathy and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, as well as Crohn′s disease, underscoring Psf2′s importance in both normal cellular function and disease contexts.
