PSD-93 Antibody (A-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects PSD-93 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PSD-93 (A-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The postsynaptic density protein 93 (PSD-93), also known as channel-associated protein of synapse-110 or chapsyn-110, plays a crucial role in assembling signal transduction complexes at synaptic sites, particularly in hippocampal neurons where PSD-93 is exclusively localized to postsynaptic sites. PSD-93 is essential for clustering and anchoring NMDA receptors at the synapse, which is vital for synaptic plasticity and memory formation. Notably, PSD-93 interacts specifically with glutamate receptor subunit delta2, which is enriched in Purkinje neuron cell bodies and dendrites, facilitating delta2 clustering when coexpressed and ensuring their co-localization at parallel fiber synapses.
