PROX1 Antibody (FM-79) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PROX1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PROX1 antibody (FM-79) is available as a non-conjugated format. PROX1, also known as homeobox prospero-like protein, is a crucial transcription factor composed of 737 amino acids, playing a vital role in progenitor-cell proliferation and cell-fate determination during embryonic development. PROX1 expression is particularly prominent in the developing lens, as well as in embryonic brain, kidney, liver, and lung tissues, with a shift towards predominant expression in the heart and liver as development progresses.
