Prostein Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Prostein protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Prostein antibody (A-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Prostein, also known as prostate cancer-associated protein 6, is a 553 amino acid transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in prostate biology, being upregulated by androgens and serving as a marker for prostate cells. Expression is not only limited to malignant conditions but is also found in benign prostatic hyperplasia, making Prostein a significant protein for understanding prostate health and disease.
