PRELI Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PRELI protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PRELI antibody (H-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PRELI protein, also known as PRELID1, is a 219 amino acid mitochondrial protein encoded within a conserved gene cluster that includes IκB-α and Rab 24. PRELI protein plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in the development of immunocompetent organs, as PRELI protein is highly expressed in fetal liver, a key site for B cell lymphopoiesis. During maturation, PRELI protein expression significantly decreases in the liver, with predominant expression observed in the brain, lymph nodes, peripheral blood leukocytes, and spleen, indicating PRELI protein′s importance in immune system development. PRELI protein contains a late embryogenesis abundant (LEA) motif, which is typically associated with plant proteins, suggesting an intriguing evolutionary connection between plants and animals. A 170 amino acid PRELI/MSF1 domain at the N-terminus may indicate a functional role related to cellular membranes, further emphasizing PRELI protein′s significance in cellular dynamics and signaling pathways.
