    SEE ALSO...

PPIL2 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PPIL2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PPIL2 (H-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PPIL2 protein, also known as cyclophilin-60, is a crucial peptidylprolyl isomerase that plays a significant role in protein folding by catalyzing the cis-trans isomerization of proline residues within polypeptides. This function is vital for proper folding and stability of proteins, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. Cyclophilin-60 is predominantly expressed in testis, pancreas, and placenta, and expression is also noted in various cancers, including melanomas and lymphomas, highlighting potential role in tumor biology. The gene encoding cyclophilin-60 is located on human chromosome 22q11.21, and exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms, further emphasizing complexity and importance in cellular processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398201 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
