PP2A-B56-δ Antibody (H5D12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PP2A-B56-delta protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-PP2A-B56-delta antibody (H5D12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PP2A-B56-delta protein plays a crucial role in cellular processes through involvement in the protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) complex, which dephosphorylates serine and threonine residues on target proteins. This dephosphorylation maintains cellular homeostasis, regulates cell division, and controls apoptosis, making PP2A-B56-delta essential in various signaling pathways. PP2A-B56-delta′s structure, characterized by trimeric assembly with catalytic and regulatory subunits, enables specific interactions with diverse substrates, influencing numerous cellular functions. In the Jurkat cells there are two bands. I work with AML cell lines and I also obtain two bands. What is the band below? Another isoform? Could you give me more information about it?

Thank you for your question. For PP2A-B56-δ there are three described isoforms: Delta-1 with ~70 kDa, Delta-2 with ~66 kDa, and Delta-3 with ~58 kDa. The protein also contains five serine and one threonine residues that may undergo phosphorylation during post-translational processing, which may also contribute to differences in observed molecular weight.
