PON2 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PON2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PON2 (C-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PON2 plays a crucial role in the detoxification of organophosphates, such as parathion, which is converted to the more toxic paroxon in the body. This detoxification process is vital for protecting cells from the harmful effects of these compounds, particularly in tissues where PON2 is expressed, such as the pancreas.
