    SEE ALSO...

PMR1 Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PMR1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PMR1 (G-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PMR1 protein, also known as ATP2C1 in humans, encodes a P-type calcium transport ATPase primarily localized to the Golgi apparatus, where PMR1 plays a crucial role in regulating intracellular calcium and manganese transport. This regulation is vital for numerous cellular processes, including signal transduction, muscle contraction, and neurotransmitter release. PMR1 protein is a transmembrane protein that exists in two splice variants differing by 20 amino acids, and PMR1 dysfunction is implicated in Hailey-Hailey disease, an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by skin blisters and erosions. PMR1 interaction with other P-type ATPases, such as the sarco(endo)plasmic calcium ATPase and the plasma membrane calcium ATPase, further underscores PMR1′s importance in maintaining cellular calcium homeostasis. These insights into PMR1 protein highlight PMR1′s essential role in cellular integrity and signaling, making anti-PMR1 antibody (G-9) a valuable tool for researchers studying calcium transport mechanisms and related pathologies.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with PMR1 (G-9): sc-365375?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
