plexin-A2 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects plexin-A2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-plexin-A2 antibody (A-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. plexin-A2 plays a crucial role in cell signaling and communication, particularly in neuronal development and guidance. plexin-A2 serves as a receptor for semaphorins, which regulate axon growth and direct neuron migration during embryonic development. Proper functioning of plexin-A2 maintains the balance between attraction and repulsion of neuronal processes, vital for forming functional neural circuits.
