PKC δ Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PKC delta of mouse, rat, and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHCP, and ELISA. PKC δ (G-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PKC delta plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of apoptosis and cell survival, making PKC delta an important target for cancer research and therapeutic interventions. Located primarily in the cytoplasm and translocating to the membrane upon activation, PKC delta′s ability to modulate various signaling cascades is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to extracellular stimuli. PKC delta′s unique structure, characterized by a C1 domain that binds diacylglycerol and a C2 domain that interacts with phospholipids, allows for precise regulation of activity in response to cellular signals. Understanding PKC delta′s localization and function can provide insights into PKC delta′s role in diseases such as cancer, where dysregulation of apoptosis and cell proliferation is often observed.
