Pit-1 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Pit-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Pit-1 (D-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Pit-1, also known as growth hormone factor-1 (GHF-1), is a crucial transcriptional regulator that plays a significant role in the development of the anterior pituitary gland, where Pit-1 is essential for the differentiation and function of somatotropes, lactotropes, and thyrotropes. Pit-1 is characterized by a POU domain, which contains a bipartite DNA-binding domain vital for regulatory functions.
