SEE ALSO...

Pbx 1b Antibody (41.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Pbx 1b protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Pbx 1b antibody (41.1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Pbx 1b protein is a member of the TALE (three amino acid loop extension) family of homeodomain-containing proteins, which play crucial roles in regulating gene expression during development and differentiation. Pbx proteins are involved in forming protein complexes that interact with other transcription factors, such as E2A, which is significant in pre-B cell acute leukemia, where chromosomal rearrangement can lead to fusion gene creation contributing to oncogenesis. Pbx 1b protein is ubiquitously expressed in both fetal and adult tissues, highlighting an essential role in various biological processes. Pbx 2 and Pbx 3 transcripts are found in lymphoid cells, while Pbx 4 expression is specifically localized to testis, particularly in spermatocytes during pachytene stage of meiosis. This diverse expression pattern underscores Pbx proteins′ importance in developmental biology and potential implications in cancer research.
