    PARC Antibody (NQ-C32) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PARC protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PARC antibody (NQ-C32) is available as a non-conjugated format. PARC protein, or p53 associated Parkin-like cytoplasmic protein, plays a crucial role in regulating tumor suppressor p53, which is altered in over 50% of human cancers. By acting as a cytoplasmic anchor for p53 in unstressed cells, PARC helps maintain proper localization and function of p53, ensuring effective response to cellular stress and DNA damage. Notably, PARC protein′s C-terminus contains a RING-IBR-RING domain, indicating potential ubiquitin ligase activity; however, PARC does not promote p53 degradation, highlighting a unique regulatory role. The gene encoding human PARC is located on chromosome 6p21.1, and understanding PARC function is vital for elucidating mechanisms of tumor suppression and cellular response to DNA damage.
