PAPSS 1/2 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PAPSS 1/2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PAPSS 1/2 (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PAPSS proteins, which include PAPSS 1 and PAPSS 2, play a crucial role in sulfate assimilation within the sulfur metabolism pathway, acting as bifunctional enzymes that facilitate two key steps in the sulfate activation process. PAPSS 1 is involved in the biosynthesis of sulfated L-selectin ligands in endothelial cells, a process vital for cell adhesion and signaling in the immune response.
