    SEE ALSO...

PAI-RBP1 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PAI-RBP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PAI-RBP1 (F-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PAI-RBP1, also known as plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 RNA-binding protein, SERBP1, CGI-55, and CHD3IP, is a membrane-associated protein primarily localized in the nucleus, perinuclear region of the cytoplasm, and plasma membrane. PAI-RBP1 plays a crucial role in mRNA stability regulation, specifically binding to the cyclic nucleotide-responsive sequence motif of PAI-1 mRNA, which stabilizes mRNA and modulates expression. PAI-RBP1 interacts with Mi2-α, suggesting involvement in chromatin remodeling processes, and associates with PGRMC1, contributing to progesterone′s antiapoptotic effects in ovarian cells. PAI-RBP1 gene overexpression in ovarian cancer indicates potential roles in tumorigenesis and metastasis, making PAI-RBP1 a significant target for cancer biology research and therapeutic development.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good antibody for Western blotWe did Western blot using total cellular extracts and got a clear band at the expected size. When we used nuclear extracts for WB, however, the signal was very weak. It might be partly because most SERBP1 is located in cytoplasm.
