PAI-RBP1 Antibody (1B9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 light chain antibody that detects PAI-RBP1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PAI-RBP1, also known as SERBP1, CGI-55, CHD3IP, HABP4L, or PAIRBP1, is a membrane-associated protein primarily localized in the nucleus, perinuclear region of the cytoplasm, and plasma membrane, crucial for regulating mRNA stability. By specifically binding to the cyclic nucleotide-responsive sequence motif of PAI-1 mRNA, PAI-RBP1 stabilizes this mRNA and modulates expression, thereby influencing various cellular processes. Additionally, PAI-RBP1 interacts with Mi2-α, suggesting involvement in chromatin remodeling, and associates with PGRMC1, playing a significant role in mediating progesterone′s antiapoptotic effects in ovarian cells. Notably, PAI-RBP1 is overexpressed in ovarian cancer, indicating potential contribution to tumorigenesis and metastasis, making PAI-RBP1 a critical target for research in cancer biology and therapeutic development.
