p70 S6 kinase α Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that specifically recognizes an epitope mapping between amino acids 429-441 at the C-terminus of p70 S6 kinase α of rat origin, detecting p70 S6 kinase α in mouse, rat, and human samples by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p70 S6 kinase α, also known as S6K1 or RPS6KB1, is a serine/threonine kinase pivotal in regulating cell growth, proliferation, and metabolism by phosphorylating the 40S ribosomal protein S6, which leads to enhanced protein synthesis and increased cell size.
