p41-ARCb Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects p41-ARCb protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p41-ARCb (C-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. p41-ARCb, also known as ARPC1B (Actin-related protein 2/3 complex subunit 1B) or ARC41 (Arp2/3 complex 41 kDa subunit), plays a crucial role in the Arp2/3 complex, which is essential for the regulation of actin polymerization and the formation of branched actin networks. p41-ARCb is localized in the cytoplasm and cytoskeleton, where p41-ARCb is involved in the assembly and maintenance of the Arp2/3 complex. p41-ARCb is distinct from other subunits of the complex as p41-ARCb is not primarily responsible for actin polymerization; instead, p41-ARCb modulates the activity of the complex through interactions with other proteins. p41-ARCb can exist in multiple isoforms due to post-translational modifications, which can influence function depending on the specific cell type or developmental stage, highlighting p41-ARCb′s importance in cellular dynamics and signaling pathways.
