p22-phox Antibody (E-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody engineered to recognize p22-phox protein, also known as CYBA or cytochrome b-245 alpha chain, from human origin. anti-p22-phox antibody (E-11) targets an epitope spanning amino acids 133-159 near the C-terminus of full-length p22-phox, facilitating detection in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p22-phox is a pivotal component of the NADPH oxidase complex, which is essential for the generation of superoxide radicals in various cell types, including phagocytes, neuroepithelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells, and endothelial cells. Structurally, p22-phox pairs with gp91-phox (NOX2) to form the membrane-bound flavocytochrome b558, a critical element for electron transfer and reactive oxygen species production. Post-translational modifications of p22-phox, such as phosphorylation, are vital for the regulation and activation of the NADPH oxidase complex, enabling dynamic interactions with cytosolic proteins like p47-phox and p67-phox during enzyme activation. These interactions are essential for assembling the active enzyme complex at the plasma membrane, which is necessary for effective immune responses and cellular signaling. Additionally, p22-phox functions as a surface oxygen sensor, initiating signaling pathways in response to hypoxic conditions, thereby playing a key role in cellular adaptation and survival. p22-phox (E-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated variants, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, offering versatile options for a wide range of experimental applications. p22-phox monoclonal antibody (E-11) is an indispensable tool for researchers investigating oxidative stress, immune responses, and the intricate mechanisms of cellular signaling, enabling comprehensive studies of the structural and functional dynamics of the NADPH oxidase complex.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We will continue to work hard on this experimentThis protein is a bit difficult to do WB. The results have been dissatisfied recently. First, the molecular is relatively small, we consider the use of small pore size of PVDF membrane. Second, it's a phosphorylated protein, we will improve the experimental conditions. If you have any experimental experience, please let me know! Thanks
