p19 ARF Antibody (12-A1-1) is a rat monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects p19 ARF in mouse samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). p19 ARF plays a crucial role in regulating the cell cycle by acting as a tumor suppressor; anti-p19 ARF antibody (12-A1-1) helps identify cell cycle arrest responses to oncogenic signals, which prevent uncontrolled cell proliferation. p19 ARF arises from an alternative reading frame of the p16 gene, which is also involved in cell cycle regulation. The interaction between p19 ARF and the cyclin-dependent kinase (Cdk) pathway highlights p19 ARF′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing tumorigenesis.
