p14 ARF Antibody (DCS-240) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects p14 ARF of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). p14 ARF monoclonal antibody (DCS-240) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. p14 ARF (DCS-240) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in regulating the cell cycle by acting as a tumor suppressor, which is vital for maintaining cellular integrity and preventing uncontrolled cell proliferation. p14 ARF is encoded by the CDKN2A gene, which also produces p16 protein, and interacts with MDM2, a negative regulator of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway. By binding to MDM2, p14 ARF stabilizes p53 levels, leading to increased expression of p21 and subsequent cell cycle arrest in both G1 and G2/M phases.
