SEE ALSO...

p-Thr Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects phosphothreonine across a broad range of species by applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p-Thr (H-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Phosphothreonine plays a crucial role in cellular signaling, particularly in the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) such as ERK and JNK, which are essential for regulating various cellular processes, including growth, differentiation, and response to stress. The phosphorylation of threonine residues is catalyzed by several families of protein kinases, including Raf, Rsk, ROCK, PAK, Akt, and PKC, which underscores the importance of threonine phosphorylation in modulating signaling pathways. Anti-phosphothreonine antibody (H-2) enables researchers to effectively characterize proteins with phosphorylated threonine residues and gain insights into the intricate cellular pathways that involve threonine phosphorylation, thereby advancing our understanding of cellular functions and disease mechanisms.

Can I use this mouse monoclonal antibody for immunohistochemical staining of mouse tissue?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. Yes. We recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is currently available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-5267 PE), fluorescein (sc-5267 FITC), Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-5267 AF488) or Alexa Fluor® 647 (sc-5267 AF647). Please contact Technical Service if you have further questions concerning this product.
