p-PDGFR-β Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects phosphorylated PDGF receptor beta (p-PDGFR-β) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p-PDGFR-β (F-10) antibody is available in a non-conjugated form, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. The platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) receptor beta plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as proliferation, survival, and migration, particularly in mesenchymal and glial cells. PDGFR-β is primarily located on the cell surface, where PDGFR-β interacts with PDGF-AA, PDGF-AB, and PDGF-BB ligands, leading to receptor dimerization and activation of intrinsic tyrosine kinase activity. This activation results in autophosphorylation at key tyrosine residues, including Tyr 857 and Tyr 751, which are essential for downstream signaling pathways. Notably, phosphorylation of Tyr 751 is critical for recruiting phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase, a key player in the signaling cascade that promotes cell survival and growth. Understanding p-PDGFR-β signaling dynamics is vital for elucidating p-PDGFR-β′s role in various physiological and pathological processes, including tissue repair and tumorigenesis.
