p-paxillin Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Tyr 118 phosphorylated paxillin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-p-paxillin antibody (A-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Paxillin plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and adhesion, acting as a scaffold that facilitates the assembly of signaling complexes at focal adhesions. Paxillin′s interaction with focal adhesion kinase (FAK) is particularly important, as this interaction is essential for regulating tyrosine phosphorylation in response to cell adhesion.
