p-hnRNP K Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ser 302 phosphorylated hnRNP K in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-p-hnRNP K antibody (H-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. hnRNP K plays a crucial role in gene expression regulation, particularly in mRNA processing and transport, through binding heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) produced by RNA Polymerase II. hnRNP K predominantly localizes in the nucleus but can shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm, essential for post-transcriptional regulation. hnRNP K contains two K homologous (KH) domains that facilitate interactions with various molecular partners, and features several phosphorylation sites, including Ser 302, a major site for phosphorylation by protein kinase C delta (PKCδ). This phosphorylation modulates hnRNP K′s ability to bind DNA and RNA, influencing transcriptional regulation and RNA shuttling between cellular compartments. p-hnRNP K (H-5) monoclonal antibody′s versatility in detecting this important protein makes this reagent invaluable for researchers studying gene expression and RNA biology.
