    SEE ALSO...

OXSR1 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects OXSR1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). OXSR1 (A-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The oxidative stress-responsive 1 protein (OXSR1), consisting of 527 amino acids, is a member of the STE20 subfamily of serine/threonine kinases and serves a critical role in cellular responses to osmotic stress, particularly in activating downstream signaling pathways. OXSR1 is specifically activated by osmotic stresses such as sorbitol and, to a lesser extent, sodium chloride, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis under stress conditions. Additionally, OXSR1 interacts with chloride channel proteins, including SLC12A1, SLC12A2, and SLC12A6 isoform 2, facilitating regulation of ion transport and cellular volume. Phosphorylation of OXSR1 by WNK1 and WNK4 protein kinases at its T-loop is essential for activation, highlighting intricate regulatory mechanisms that govern function. Widespread expression of OXSR1 in mammalian tissues underscores importance in various physiological processes, making anti-OXSR1 antibody (A-4) a valuable tool for researchers studying stress response pathways and related cellular functions.
