Ovol2 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Ovol2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Ovol2 antibody (E-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ovol2, a member of the Ovo family of zinc-finger transcription factors, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during development, particularly in neural and vascular processes. Ovol2 maintains the balance between cell proliferation and differentiation, which is vital for proper embryonic development. Ovol2 interacts with other transcription factors and signaling pathways, including Wnt and TGF-β/BMP, to modulate the expression of genes involved in these processes. Understanding Ovol2 function is important, as dysregulation can lead to developmental disorders and contribute to various diseases. Ovol2 (E-9) antibody effectively detects this protein across multiple species, making Ovol2 (E-9) monoclonal antibody a valuable tool for researchers studying developmental biology and related fields.

what is the difference between 'Ovol2 Antibody (E-9)' and 'Ovol2 Antibody (E-9) X' ?

Asked by: njht
Thank you for your question. The TransCruz Reagent, sc-515001 X, is 10X more concentrated than the standard formulation of the antibody in a buffer of PBS + azide (without gelatin).

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515001 P appropriate for?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
