    SEE ALSO...

OTK18 Antibody (211-3.1-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects OTK18 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). OTK18 (211-3.1-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. OTK18, also known as zinc finger protein 175 (ZNF175), is a 711 amino acid member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, characterized by 15 C2H2-type zinc fingers and a single KRAB domain. ZNF175 is primarily localized in the nucleus and cytosol, where ZNF175 plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation. ZNF175 is induced by HIV-1 infection and functions as a transcriptional suppressor, thereby influencing the expression of genes involved in the viral life cycle and host immune response. ZNF175′s ability to interact with other proteins, such as KAP1, highlights ZNF175′s importance in recruiting histone-modifying proteins, which can lead to changes in chromatin structure and gene expression. Anti-OTK18 antibody (211-3.1-1) serves as an essential tool for researchers studying the molecular mechanisms of HIV-1 and the broader implications of zinc-finger proteins in gene regulation.
