    Osteoadherin Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Osteoadherin of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Osteoadherin antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Osteoadherin, also known as OSAD, is a bone proteoglycan that plays a crucial role in the extracellular matrix, facilitating cell adhesion through interaction with integrin αvβ3. OSAD′s structure features eleven B-type, leucine-rich repeats, which contribute to stability and functionality in the extracellular environment. Notably, Osteoadherin contains several post-translational modifications, including four putative sites for tyrosine sulfation and six assumed sites for N-linked glycosylation, which are essential for biological activity and interactions with other proteins. A unique C-terminal domain of Osteoadherin, which is highly acidic, further distinguishes OSAD within the small leucine-rich proteoglycan family and plays a significant role in interactions with other extracellular matrix components. Osteoadherin expression is primarily localized to the extracellular space, underscoring OSAD′s importance in bone biology and tissue integrity.
