OSM Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects OSM protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-OSM antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Oncostatin M (OSM) is a glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in regulating cell growth and differentiation, particularly in inflammation and cancer. OSM was initially isolated from the conditioned medium of U937 human histiocytic leukemia cells that had been induced to differentiate into macrophage-like cells. OSM inhibits the growth of a wide range of human tumor cell lines while sparing normal human fibroblasts, highlighting OSM′s potential as a therapeutic target in oncology.
