SEE ALSO...

Omni-probe Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects the Omni-probe by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Omni-probe (D-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Omni-probe plays a crucial role in identifying and purifying hybrid fusion proteins, which are often generated using plasmid vectors that express coding regions of eukaryotic genes in various host systems such as E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. These vectors typically encode hybrid proteins that combine prokaryotic and eukaryotic elements, allowing for efficient production and purification of proteins of interest. The presence of polyhistidine sequences in these fusion proteins enables rapid purification using nickel-charged agarose resin, making Omni-probe (D-8) monoclonal antibody an essential tool for researchers working with expressed fusion proteins. By targeting specific vector sequences located between the polyhistidine tag and the cDNA insert, Omni-probe (D-8) antibody facilitates convenient identification of expressed proteins across different host systems, thereby streamlining the research process and enhancing experimental outcomes.
