    SEE ALSO...

Olfr30 Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Olfr30 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Olfr30 antibody (E-1) is available as the non-conjugated form. Olfr30 , also known as olfactory receptor 30, is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family and consists of 315 amino acids. Olfr30 is primarily located in the cilia of olfactory sensory neurons, where Olfr30 plays a crucial role in the detection of odor molecules. Olfr30 can bind a diverse range of odorants, initiating a signal transduction cascade that ultimately leads to the perception of smell in the brain. Genes encoding olfactory receptors, including Olfr30 , represent the largest gene family in the human genome, highlighting their significance in sensory biology. Olfr30 is mapped to mouse chromosome 11 B1.3, and Olfr30 interactions with various odor molecules underscore an essential function in olfactory signaling pathways.

How much sample do you recommend loading on the gel for Western blot detection using Olfr30 (E-1): sc-515581?

    Asked by: Germaine
We recommend loading 40–60 µg whole cell lysate, 10–20 µg nuclear extract, 5-10 µg transfected lysate, or 10–20 ng purified protein per lane.
