NXF2 Antibody (NB-B46) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NXF2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NXF2 antibody (NB-B46) is available as the non-conjugated format. NXF2 plays a crucial role in nuclear export of RNA, which is essential for proper expression of genes and regulation of cellular processes. NXF2 is primarily located at the nuclear envelope, where NXF2 facilitates transport of RNA molecules from nucleus to cytoplasm, ensuring mRNA is available for translation into proteins. This localization is vital because any disruption in RNA export can lead to accumulation of unprocessed RNA in the nucleus, potentially resulting in cellular dysfunction and contributing to various diseases. NXF2 is part of a larger family of nuclear export factors, which includes TAP1 (NXF1) and NXF5, and NXF2 interacts with RNA and other proteins to form complexes that mediate RNA export. NXF2′s ability to bind RNA and specific localization underscore its importance in maintaining the flow of genetic information within the cell, making NXF2 a significant target for research in gene expression and related disorders.
