SEE ALSO...

Nup205 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Nup205 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Nup205 antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nup205, also known as nucleoporin 205 kDa, is a critical component of the nuclear pore complex (NPC), which facilitates the transport of macromolecules between the nucleus and cytoplasm in eukaryotic cells. Nup205 is composed of 2,012 amino acids and is characterized by the presence of O-linked-N-acetylglucosamine moieties and a distinctive pentapeptide repeat (XFXFG), which are essential for structural integrity and function. Nup205′s localization to the nucleus is vital for maintaining proper NPC functioning, as Nup205 plays a key role in regulating nucleocytoplasmic transport, a process crucial for cellular homeostasis and gene expression. The gene encoding Nup205 is located on human chromosome 7, a region associated with various genetic disorders, highlighting Nup205′s importance in cellular processes and potential implications in disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-377047: Nup205 (H-1) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-377047 conjugates.
