Nrl Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Nrl protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Nrl antibody (F-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nrl protein, or neural retina leucine zipper, is a crucial transcription factor belonging to the Maf family, characterized by a highly conserved basic leucine zipper (bZIP) DNA-binding motif. Nrl plays a vital role in retinal cell development and function, particularly promoting rhodopsin expression, a key protein in photoreceptor cells essential for vision. Nrl achieves this by binding to the Nrl response element within the rhodopsin promoter, thereby regulating gene expression critical for phototransduction.
