NRBP Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NRBP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NRBP (C-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The nuclear receptor binding protein (NRBP) plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and trafficking, particularly influencing the movement of proteins between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus through interactions with GTPases. As a multidomain putative adaptor protein, NRBP is essential for modulating various signaling pathways by facilitating the assembly of signaling complexes in the cytoplasm. NRBP can form homodimers and interacts with MLF1, leading to the recruitment of a serine kinase that phosphorylates both proteins, thereby inhibiting MLF1′s ability to bind to YWHAZ. NRBP is primarily localized in the cytoplasm, can co-localize with RAC3 within the endomembrane system, and is observed at the cell periphery in lamellipodia, highlighting a dynamic role in cellular architecture and signaling. NRBP gene is located on human chromosome 2p23 and exhibits ubiquitous expression across human tissues, with highest levels found in the testis, underscoring importance in both normal physiology and potential pathological conditions.
