SEE ALSO...

Notch 2 Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Notch 2 protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Notch 2 (C-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Notch 2 is a crucial component of the Notch signaling pathway, which is integral to cell communication and plays a significant role in regulating cell fate decisions during development. Notch 2 is primarily located in the cell membrane, where this receptor interacts with ligands such as Jagged and Delta, facilitating essential processes like cell differentiation and tissue development. Proper functioning of Notch 2 is vital, as dysregulation can lead to various developmental disorders and has been implicated in cancer progression. Notch 2′s interaction with ligands not only influences cell fate but also contributes to stem cell population maintenance and immune response regulation. Given such importance in both normal physiology and disease, Notch 2 remains a significant target for therapeutic interventions and research in developmental biology and oncology.

Hi, Can this antibody be used in Immuno fluorescence staining on mouse tissues, i would like to use the directly conjugated antibody (AF-488), thanks

Thank you for your question. Notch 2 Antibody (C-2): sc-518049 is recommended for detection of Notch 2 of mouse, rat origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA, so using the AF488 conjugate is a good choice for your immunofluorescence experiment with murine samples.
