NOR-1 Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NOR-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NOR-1 Antibody (H-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NOR-1 (H-7) antibody targets NOR-1 protein, also known as neuron-derived orphan receptor 1, a member of the NGFI-B subfamily within the nuclear receptor superfamily, which includes Nur77 and Nurr1. NOR-1 proteins are classified as orphan nuclear receptors due to the absence of identified ligands, and function as immediate-early genes that respond rapidly to various stimuli, influencing processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. NOR-1 is predominantly expressed in tissues such as the heart, skeletal muscle, thymus, spleen, and brain, where expression is developmentally regulated, suggesting involvement in neural differentiation. NOR-1 gene is located on chromosome 9q and undergoes chromosomal translocation with the EWS gene, resulting in a fusion protein that may impact pre-mRNA splicing, further underscoring NOR-1′s significance in cellular processes.
