NOD3 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NOD3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NOD3 (E-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NOD3 protein, also known as NLRC3, is a 1,065 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the immune response by modulating T-cell activation. NOD3 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and contains a NACHT domain along with 17 leucine-rich repeats (LRRs), which are essential for protein-protein interactions and signaling pathways. The structure of NOD3, particularly its LRRs, allows for formation of a hydrophobic α/β horseshoe fold, which is vital for function in recognizing and responding to intracellular pathogens. NOD3 is expressed in peripheral blood mononuclear cells and is involved in transcriptional control events related to T-cell activation, highlighting importance in adaptive immunity. Multiple isoforms of NOD3 arise from alternative splicing, further diversifying functional roles in immune regulation.
