NMNAT-3 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NMNAT-3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NMNAT-3 monoclonal antibody (D-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NMNAT-3, also known as nicotinamide mononucleotide adenylyltransferase 3 or PNAT3, is a crucial enzyme in cellular metabolism, specifically involved in the synthesis of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), a vital cofactor for numerous biochemical reactions. This 252 amino acid protein is predominantly localized in the mitochondria and is highly expressed in tissues such as the spleen and lungs, where NMNAT-3 plays a significant role in energy metabolism and cellular signaling. NMNAT-3 can form homotetramers, which is essential for enzymatic function, and NMNAT-3 activity is influenced by the presence of magnesium and other divalent cations. Additionally, NMNAT-3 contains multiple phosphorylation sites, suggesting that NMNAT-3 interaction with nuclear proteins may be regulated by post-translational modifications, which can impact various cellular processes, including stress responses and cell survival.
