    SEE ALSO...

NGAL Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NGAL of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-NGAL antibody (H-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NGAL, also known as lipocalin 2, plays a crucial role in the immune response and is primarily located in the extracellular space, where activated leukocytes and epithelial cells secrete NGAL . This localization enables NGAL to interact with various immune cells and modulate inflammatory responses, particularly during infection or tissue injury. NGAL binds to bacterial products, suggesting a scavenger function that helps mitigate inflammation and promote tissue repair. Additionally, NGAL shows upregulation in various pathological conditions, including inflammatory and neoplastic diseases, making NGAL a valuable biomarker for monitoring disease progression and response to therapy. With diverse applications and a critical role in immune modulation, NGAL (H-4) monoclonal antibody serves as an essential tool for researchers studying inflammation and related diseases.
