SEE ALSO...

Neutrophil Marker Antibody (NIMP-R14) is a rat monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects the Neutrophil Marker protein of mouse origin by immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-Neutrophil Marker antibody (NIMP-R14) is available as the non-conjugated format. Neutrophils, also known as neutrophil granulocytes, are the most abundant type of white blood cell and play a crucial role in the mammalian immune system, particularly in the defense against bacterial infections. These cells are strategically located in the bloodstream and can rapidly migrate to sites of infection or inflammation, where they are often the first responders. Upon arrival, neutrophils engage in phagocytosis, a process that allows them to engulf and destroy pathogens. This is vital for controlling infections and preventing the spread of bacteria. Additionally, neutrophils are equipped with various granules that contain antimicrobial proteins, which are released to combat invading microorganisms. The ability of neutrophils to perform these functions effectively is essential for maintaining immune homeostasis and responding to acute inflammatory challenges.
