  • raised against amino acids 251-290 mapping near the C-terminus of Neurotrimin of human origin
  • Neurotrimin Antibody (F-9) is recommended for detection of Neurotrimin of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including porcine
  • Anti-Neurotrimin Antibody (F-9) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • m-IgGλ BP-HRP (mouse IgGλ binding protein-HRP) is the preferred secondary detection reagent for Neurotrimin Antibody (F-9) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with Neurotrimin Antibody (F-9) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGλ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

Neurotrimin Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Neurotrimin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Neurotrimin antibody (F-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Neurotrimin, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and specifically the IgLON family, plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, which is vital for processes such as neuronal development and synaptic plasticity. Neurotrimin is primarily located at the cell membrane, where this protein functions as a lipid-anchor, facilitating interactions between cells and their extracellular environment. Proper localization and function of Neurotrimin are essential for maintaining synaptic integrity and promoting effective communication between neurons, which is critical for learning and memory. Regulation of Neurotrimin and other cell adhesion molecules is important for embryonic morphogenesis and the immune response, highlighting Neurotrimin′s significance in both developmental biology and disease processes.

Are there any issues with using sc-390941: Neurotrimin (F-9) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-390941 conjugates.
