NETO2 Antibody (3E3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NETO2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NETO2 antibody (3E3) is available as the non-conjugated format. NETO2, also known as neuropilin (NRP) and tolloid (TLL)-like 2, or BTCL2, is a 525 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein characterized by two CUB domains and one LDL-receptor class A domain. NETO2 is predominantly located in the brain, where NETO2 plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of neuronal circuitry, essential for proper brain function and communication between neurons. The gene encoding NETO2 is situated on human chromosome 16, a region linked to various genetic disorders, including giant axonal neuropathy and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome. Multiple alternatively spliced isoforms of NETO2 suggest a complex regulatory mechanism that may influence neuronal development. Understanding NETO2′s role in neuronal circuitry is vital, as disruptions in NETO2 function could contribute to neurological disorders, highlighting NETO2′s importance in maintaining cognitive health and neurological integrity.
