Nek6 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Nek6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Nek6 antibody (D-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nek6 plays a crucial role in cell division, particularly during metaphase-anaphase transition, where Nek6 is essential for proper chromosome segregation and mitotic progression. This function maintains genomic stability, as errors in chromosome segregation can lead to aneuploidy and contribute to tumorigenesis. Nek6 is predominantly localized in cytoplasm and exhibits ubiquitous expression, with highest levels found in heart and skeletal muscle, highlighting Nek6′s importance in tissues with high proliferative demands. Nek6 is activated during M phase of cell cycle, underscoring Nek6′s role in regulating mitotic events.
