Nek3 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Nek3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Nek3 (E-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nek3 protein plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly in the transition from G2 phase to mitosis, which is essential for proper cell division and proliferation. Such regulation is vital for maintaining genomic stability and preventing uncontrolled cell growth, which can lead to cancer. Nek3 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm and exhibits consistent expression levels throughout the cell cycle, although expression levels are elevated in quiescent fibroblasts during G0 phase. This unique expression pattern suggests Nek3 may have specific functions in cellular quiescence and differentiation, particularly in developing testicular germ cells, where Nek3 may interact with other NIMA-related kinases to coordinate complex cellular processes.
