    SEE ALSO...

NDUFB3 Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects NDUFB3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NDUFB3, also known as B12, is a crucial 98 amino acid hydrophobic protein that plays a significant role as an accessory subunit of Complex I in the mitochondrial inner membrane. NDUFB3 is essential for the proper functioning of the electron transport chain, facilitating the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone, ultimately contributing to ATP synthesis by creating an electrochemical proton gradient. The structural integrity of NDUFB3 is vital, as NDUFB3 is part of a complex assembly of at least 45 different subunits that form the L-shaped structure of Complex I. Disruptions in the structure or function of NDUFB3 can lead to impaired mitochondrial respiration and energy production, which are critical for cellular metabolism and overall cellular health. Anti-NDUFB3 antibody (G-9) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying mitochondrial function, energy metabolism, and related pathologies, providing insights into the intricate mechanisms of cellular respiration and the potential implications of mitochondrial dysfunction in various diseases.
